Bibliography

The information below is taken with acknowledgement from the New General Catalogue of Old Books and Authors. I have read recently that the reason why there are so few second-hand books by this author is that the original readers loved the books so much that they read them over and over till their copies fell to bits. Thus may be a bookseller's "line" but there is a grain of truth in it. In fact it is probably true of most authors on this website, and explains why it is often hard to get copies of more than about a third of an author's books.
